This week just flew by! Having a crazy work week doesn’t really help the case! I think us Buckeyes saw the last warm days of the year. We had a couple of warm days and the rest were right around 40 degrees and Sunday was windy and rainy. Follow along to learn about my 3rd week of November.
Monday of the 3rd week of November
Monday of the 3rd week of November, I caught up from the weekend with Roost items after work. Nothing really too exciting. We also got our outside lights on either side of the garage door up and working! It was seriously so dark out there with no lights. We found two matching lights at a garage sale for like $4! Dustin had got all the wire ran and the holes cut- he had a coworker of his that’s an electrician wire them up. Dustin said he would have wired them up just the same. But I’m glad Dustin wanted to be extra careful. It never hurts to be too safe. We found out that our garage lights are dusk to dawn lights! We were so excited when we found out the next day! Isn’t that awesome?!
3rd Tuesday in November
Tuesday I started getting the rest of my Christmas decor out and up! I didn’t get a lot accomplished but I did get my mini tree up. Just patiently waiting for Black Friday for the Christmas tree farm to open up to pick out our big Christmas tree! Probably one of, if not, my favorite part of Christmas!
I posted a cute restocking reel on a few items at home as well! Watch it here. I will get better with the videos! I’m wanting my quality to be better but I think it would help more to record more during the day. Tuesday was also the leaf raking day for pickup on Wednesday!
Wednesday of the 3rd Week of November
Wednesday got himself a new tool which he is so excited about. He got it half off since his work got a bunch for free with buying pallets of nails. I’m excited too it’ll make a lot of projects a lot easier!
Thursday
Thursday I scored some awesome deals at CVS. I just used the CVS app for all this as well. I saw $65 on the checkout screen and got it down to $28! But I scored $10 in extra bucks making this $18! The toilet paper was BOGO free. The Purell was $1 off. The soft soap was on sale for $3.99, you got $2 back in extra bucks, and I had $1 making it $0.99! I had $2 off the BioTrue. The Axe deodorant was BOGO half off. I had $1 off one, $2.50 off two, and $3 back in extra bucks! Then the toothpaste you bought 3 tubes and got $5 back in extra bucks, I had $3 off $15 coupon and $5 off!
Friday
Friday I worked, then I came home and Dustin got home about the same time I did. We decided to go out to eat and then shopped for some garland at Walmart. Worked on the garland for a little bit and then we went to bed for a busy Saturday morning.
Saturday
Saturday we both had to work. We got up pretty early, but we couldn’t find Dustin’s work van keys! We looked everywhere tore the whole house apart just for them to be on the counter! He went to work and then I did. Then we had to run to the next town over to pick up some food we ordered for a school band fundraiser. After that, Dustin worked outside for a little bit and I got the house all cleaned up and we worked on the outside Christmas lights. Dustin had a little bit of a break the neighbor across the street came over for a beer. But we got all the lights up! I’m one happy wife.
Sunday
Sunday was a pretty relaxed day for us! We checked out a new bakery in the town over, took a drive and I worked on the rest of my Christmas decor! We ended the night watching the latest Grey’s Anatomy episode and then some episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch!
Overall, we had a great 3rd Week of November. I am looking forward to a shorter work week! I hope we all have a great Thanksgiving!
