Double Fudge Chocolate Cheesecake

Double Fudge Chocolate Cheesecake. Do I need to say more? Doesn’t that sound AMAZING!? And it really is double chocolate. If you aren’t a big chocolate fan, this recipe probably isn’t for you.

I got this recipe from my Golden Girls Cookbook. This recipe was pretty easy to make! I had to swap out the Nabisco chocolate wafers for just chocolate Teddy Grahams. Either my grocery store doesn’t sell them or they don’t make them anymore. I also swapped the bittersweet chocolate to semi-sweet chocolate.

The Golden Girls cookbook means so much to me. My mom bought for me as a birthday gift and I have officially made 4 recipes so far out of the book. I just love the whole story behind the cookbook and have recipes from the show that either was talked about or what the characters could have possibly made. The Golden Girls have easily become my favorite show and has become a comfort show to me. When I am feeling down or just need a good laugh it is my go to show. I think it is easy to find shows that you latch on to after going through hard times and that is exactly what the Golden Girls is for me. I have watched every episode I don’t know how many times but it is never not funny to me!

For this recipe you’ll need,Chocolate Teddy Grahams, bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, melted butter and eggs. Plus a food processor and a stand or hand mixer.

Like the Golden Girls said: Nothing is worse than being alone and scared and not having a double fudge chocolate cheesecake in the freezer. 🙂
